WHAT IS CHILD DEDICATION?

A child dedication is when parents make a commitment before the Lord to raise their child according to God’s Word. Parents are choosing to help their child grow spiritually on their journey with God. We look forward to being a part of your family’s next steps and faith journey!

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Dedicate your children to God and point them in the way that they should go, and the values they’ve learned from you will be with them for life.”

WHEN IS CHILD DEDICATION?

Child Dedications are typically in February, on Mother’s Day and in October each year during our 11am Sunday Victory Celebration service. If our 11am service fills up, some families may be asked to move to the 9am service. The application will be active 6 weeks prior to the next Child Dedication. Applications must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to the dedication date. Each dedication is allowed a limited number of families. Spots are filled by the order of which the applications are received. Any families who do not make the soonest dedication will be put on the list for the next scheduled dedication.

WHAT TO EXPECT

During a child dedication the parents, family members and children being dedicated will all come out on stage. Your child will be introduced and our Pastors will take time to bless and pray for each child individually.
